Suffering is consequence of false judgments of value, which cause negative emotions and a concomitant vicious character. The approach of the modern medical system is more on combative lines after the disease has set in, treats the symptoms and suppresses the disease but does little to ascertain the real cause. Physicians generally prescribe medicines according to the visible symptoms, without taking into account the inner principles and the causal aspect of the disease. No disease can be cured without removing the cause itself. The cause is always in the inner; the effect is in the outer. Man can cure himself. No man can be a perfect physician to anyone but himself. The reason of which is that any man may, by repeated trials acquire a perfect knowledge of his own constitution, and the most hidden qualities of his body and what food best agrees with his stomach. Self-study in a state of deep relaxation cures not only bodily ailments but is also a sure remedy for mental agony. By self-analysis one knows the ailment and its cause. Diagnosis is half the cure. It is rightly said that the body and mind has its own cure for its ailment. There is a solution available within the body itself, which can be discovered. If one sincerely makes use of one's inner powers, one can reduce the effect of bad considerably. The body attached to sensuous pleasure is weak People experience pain due to their weak and fragile body. Attachment is karma. Everything is its extension and the remedy lies in subsidence of karma. Attachment to body - self-identification with the body is verily the root of all evil. Restlessness means connected to body. 117
