वैभवम् ।
वणिआण वणिजम्मि माहणाणं मुहम्मि अ । खत्तिआणं सिरी खग्गे कारूणं सिप्प कम्मसु ॥ ८० ॥
वणिजां वाणिज्ये ब्राह्मणानां मुखे च । क्षत्त्रियाणां श्रीः खड्ड कारूणां शिल्पकर्मसु ॥ ८० ॥
The wealth of a trader lies in commerce, that of a Brahmin in his mouth (i. e. he acquires riches or fame by delivering learned discourses) that of a Kshatriya in his trusty sword and that of an artisan in his craft.
किं तीए सिरीए, सुदरीवि जा होइ अन्न-देसम्मि । जाइ न मित्तेहिं समं जा य न दिट्ठा अमित्तेहिं ॥ ८१ ॥
किं तया श्रिया, सुन्दर्यपि या भवत्यन्यदेशे । यातिन मित्त्रैः समं या च न दृष्टाऽमित्त्रैः ॥ ८१ ॥

Of what worth is that wealth, which though beautiful, is in another country and does not benefit (lit: does not accompany ) one's friends, nor is seen ( and therefore envied ) by his enemies.
किं तीए सिरीए पीवराए छन्नाए गेह-निहिआए ।
विप्फुरइ जए न जओ मियंक किरणुज्जला कित्ती ॥ ८२ ॥
किं तया श्रिया पीवर्या छन्नया गेहनिहितया । विस्फुरति जगति न यतो मृगाङ्ककिरणोज्ज्वला कीर्त्तिः ॥ ८२॥
