असंखकालमुक्कोसं, एगं समयं जहन्निया।
अजीवाण य रूवीणं, ठिई एसा वियाहिया॥१३॥ रूपी अजीव द्रव्यों की यह स्थिति जघन्य (कम से कम) एक समय की और उत्कृष्ट (अधिक से अधिक) असंख्यात काल की कही गई है॥१३॥
This state of non-life with form (rupi ajiva) continues for a minimum of one Samaya and maximum of innumerable time. (13)
अणन्तकालमुक्कोसं, एगं समयं जहन्नयं।
अजीवाण य रूवीणं, अन्तरेयं वियाहियं ॥१४॥ रूपी अजीव द्रव्यों का अन्तर जघन्य एक समय और उत्कृष्ट असंख्यात काल का है। (अन्तर का अभिप्राय है-अपने प्रतिनियत पूर्वावगाहित स्थान से चलकर पुनः उसी स्थान पर पहुँचने के मध्य-अन्तराल का समय) ॥१४॥ . The minimum intervening period (antar) between shifting of a non-life with form (rupi ajiva or matter) from a place and regaining the same place is one Samaya and the maximum is innumerable period of time. (14)
वण्णओ गन्धओ चेव, रसओ फासओ तहा।
संठाणओ य विन्नेओ, परिणामो तेसि पंचहा॥१५॥ स्कन्ध आदि का परिणमन-(१) वर्ण की अपेक्षा से, (२) गन्ध की अपेक्षा से, (३) रस की अपेक्षा से, (४) स्पर्श की अपेक्षा से, और (५) संस्थान की अपेक्षा से-पाँच प्रकार का जानना चाहिये॥ १५॥
The transformation of aggregates should be known in five contexts; in context of (1) colour, (2) smell, (3) taste, (4) touch, and (5) structure (samsthan). (15) . वण्णओ परिणया जे उ, पंचहा ते पकित्तिया।
किण्हा नीला य लोहिया, हालिद्दा सुक्किला तहा॥१६॥ वर्ण से जो (स्कन्ध आदि रूपी अजीव-पुद्गल) परिणत होते हैं, वे पाँच प्रकार के कहे गये हैं(१) कृष्ण, (२) नील, (३) लोहित (लाल), (४) आरिद्र (पीत), और (५) श्वेत-शुक्ल ॥१६॥
The transformation of aggregates of non-life with form (matter) in context of colour is said to be of five kinds-(1) black, (2) blue, (3) red, (4) yellow, and (5) white. (16)
गन्धओ परिणया जे उ, दुविहा ते वियाहिया।
सुब्भिगन्धपरिणामा, दुब्भिगन्धा तहेव य॥१७॥ जो (स्कन्ध आदि) पुद्गल गन्ध से परिणत होते हैं, वे दो प्रकार के कहे गये हैं-(१) सुरभिगन्ध परिणमन, और (२) दुरभिगन्ध परिणमन ॥ १७॥
___The transformation of aggregates of non-life with form (matter) in context of smell is said to be of two kinds—(1) pleasant smell, and (2) unpleasant or foul smell. (17)
