सचित्र उत्तराध्ययन सूत्रता
अणन्तकालमुक्कोसं, अन्तोमुहत्तं जहन्नयं।
विजढंमि सए काए. तेउजीवाण अन्तरं॥११५॥ अपनी काय (तेजस्काय) से निकलने-छोड़ने (से लेकर अन्य काय में जाकर जन्म-मरण करते हुए बिताया हुआ काल-अन्तराल और पुन: तेजस्काय में उत्पन्न होने तक का समय) तेजस्कायिक जीवों का अन्तर उत्कृष्टतः अनन्तकाल का और जघन्यतः अन्तर्मुहूर्त काल का होता है॥ ११५ ॥
The maximum intervening period between once leaving the body-type (fire-body), (taking rebirth in other body-types and moving in cycles of rebirth as other body types) and again taking rebirth in the same body-type (fire-body) is infinite time and the minimum is one Antarmuhurt. (115)
एएसिं वण्णओ चेव, गन्धओ रसफासओ।
संठाणादेसओ वावि, विहाणाइं सहस्ससो॥११६॥ वर्ण, रस, गन्ध, स्पर्श के आदेश-अपेक्षा से इन तेजस्कायिक जीवों के हजारों भेद बताये गये हैं॥ ११६॥
These fire-bodied beings are also of thousands of kinds with regard to colour, smell, taste, touch and constitution. (116) वायु त्रसकाय की प्ररूपणा
दुविहा वाउजीवा उ, सुहुमा बायरा तहा।
पज्जत्तमपज्जत्ता, एवमेए दुहा पुणो॥११७॥ वायुकायिक जीवों के दो प्रकार कहे गये हैं-(१) सूक्ष्म, और (२) बादर। इन दोनों प्रकारों के पुनः दो-दो भेद होते हैं-(१) पर्याप्त, और (२) अपर्याप्त ॥ ११७॥ Air-bodied mobile beings
___Air-bodied beings are of two types-(1) minute, and (2) gross. These two are also of two types each-(1) fully developed (paryaapt), and (2) under-developed (aparyaapt). (117)
बायरा जे उ पज्जता, पंचहा ते पकित्तिया।
उक्कलिया-मण्डलिया, घण-गुंजा सुद्धवाया य॥११८॥ जो पर्याप्त बादर वायुकायिक जीव हैं, वे पाँच प्रकार के कहे गये हैं-(१) उत्कलिक वात, (२) मण्डलिका वात, (३) घनवात, (४) गुंजावात, और (५) शुद्धवात ॥ ११८॥
Fully developed air-bodied beings are said to be of five kinds-(1) squalls or intermittent winds (utkalika vaat), (2) whirl winds (mandalika vaat), (3) heavy winds (ghana vaat), (4) high winds or buzzing wind (gunja vaat), and (5) low wind or pure air (shuddha vaat). (118)
संवट्टगवाते य, ऽणेगविहा एवमायओ। एगविहमणाणत्ता, सुहुमा ते वियाहिया॥११९॥
