The maximum intervening period between once leaving the body-type (three-sensed body), (taking rebirth in other body-types and moving in cycles of rebirth as other body-types) and again taking rebirth in the same body-type (three-sensed body) is infinite time and the minimum is one Antarmuhurt. (143)
एएसिं वण्णओ चेव, गन्धओ रसफासओ।
संठाणादेसओ वावि, विहाणाई सहस्ससो॥१४४॥ इन त्रीन्द्रिय जीवों के वर्ण, गन्ध, रस, स्पर्श और संस्थान की अपेक्षा से हजारों प्रकार कहे गये हैं॥ १४४॥
These three-sensed beings are also of thousands of kinds with regard to colour, smell, taste, touch and constitution. (144) . चतुरिन्द्रिय त्रसकाय प्ररूपणा
चउरिन्दिया उ जे जीवा, दुविहा ते पकित्तिया।
पज्जत्तमपज्जत्ता, तेसिं भेए सुणेह मे॥१४५॥ जो चतुरिन्द्रिय (चार इन्द्रियों वाले) जीव हैं, वे दो प्रकार के कहे गये हैं-(१) पर्याप्त, और (२) अपर्याप्त। उनके भेद मुझसे सुनो॥ १४५॥ Four-sensed mobile beings ___Four-sensed beings are of two types-(1) fully developed (paryaapt), and (2) under-developed (aparyaapt). Hear from me the subdivisions of these four-sensed beings. (145)
अन्धिया पोत्तिया चेव, मच्छिया मसगा तहा।
भमरे कीड-पयंगे य, ढिंकुणे कंकुणे तहा॥१४६॥ अन्धिया-अन्धिका, पोत्तिया-पोत्तिका, मच्छिया-मक्षिका (मक्खी), मसगा-मशक (मच्छर-डांस), भमरे-भ्रमर (भौंरा), कीड-पयंगे-कीट (टिड्डे, पतंगे), ढिंकुणे (पिस्सु), कंकुणे-कंकुण- ॥ १४६ ॥ ___Andhika, Pottika, fly, mosquito, bumble-bee, moth and grasshopper, flea, kankun-(146) ।
कुक्कुडे सिंगिरीडी य, नन्दावत्ते य विछिए।
ढोले भिंगारी य, विरली अच्छिवेहए॥१४७॥ कुक्कुडे-कुक्कुड, सिंगिरीडी-शृंगिरीटी, नन्दावत्ते-नन्दावर्त, विंछिए-बिच्छु (वृश्चिक), ढोले-ढोल, भिंगारी-भंगरीटक (झींगुर अथवा भ्रमरी), विरली-विरली, अच्छिवेहए-अक्षिवेधक- ॥ १४७॥ ___Kukkud, shringiriti, nandavarta, scorpion, dhol, bhringritaka (cricket or black bee), virali, akshivedhaka- (147)
अच्छिले माहए अच्छिरोडए, विचित्ते चित्तपत्तए। ओहिंजलिया जलकारी य, नीया तन्तवगाविया॥१४८॥
