Placental human beings are of three types-(1) born in Karmabhumi (land of endeavour), (2) born in Akarmabhumi (land of non-endeavour), and (3) born in middle islands (Antaradvipaj). (196)
पन्नरस-तीसइ-विहा, भे अट्ठवीसइं । संखा उ कमसो तेसिं, इइ एसा वियाहिया ॥ १९७॥
कर्मभूमि मनुष्यों के पन्द्रह (१५) प्रकार, अकर्मभूमिज मनुष्यों के तीस (३०) प्रकार और अन्तरद्वीपज मनुष्यों के अट्ठाईस (२८) प्रकार कहे गये हैं ॥ १९७ ॥
There are said to be fifteen kinds of those born in Karmabhumis, thirty kinds of those born in Akarmabhumis and twenty-eight kinds of those born in middle islands. (197) संमुच्छिमाण एमेव, भेओ होइ आहिओ । लोगस्स एगदेसम्म ते सव्वे वि वियाहिया ॥ १९८ ॥
इसी तरह के तीन भेद संमूच्छिम मनुष्यों के होते हैं। ये सभी (गर्भज और संमूच्छिम ) मनुष्यलोक एक देश (अंश या भाग) में ही बताये गये हैं ॥ १८८ ॥
Likewise, there are three kinds of human beings of asexual origin. They all (humans of the said two origins) exist in a section of the universe and not in the whole. (198) संतई पप्पऽणाईया, अपज्जवसिया वि यं । ठियं पडुच्च साईया, सपज्जवसिया वि य ॥ १९९॥
संतति-प्रवाह की अपेक्षा (सभी प्रकार के मनुष्य) ये सभी अनादि - अनन्त हैं और स्थिति की अपेक्षा से सादि - सान्त भी हैं ॥ १९९ ॥
In context of continuity these (human beings) are beginningless and endless. However in context of existence at a particular place they have a beginning as well as end. (199)
पलिओवमाइं तिणि उ, उक्कोसेण वियाहिया । आउट्ठिई मणुयाणं, अन्तोमुहुत्तं जहन्निया ॥ २००॥
(गर्भज) मनुष्य की उत्कृष्ट आयुस्थिति तीन पल्योपम की और जघन्य आयुस्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त की कही गई है॥ २०० ॥
The maximum life-span of these placental human beings is three Palyopam and the minimum is one Antarmuhurt (less than forty-eight minutes). (200)
पलिओवमाइं तिणि उ, उक्कोसेण वियाहिया । पुव्वकोडीपुहत्तेणं, अन्तोमुहुत्तं जहन्निया ॥ २०१ ॥
(गर्भज) मनुष्य की उत्कृष्ट कायस्थिति पूर्वकोटि- पृथक्त्व अधिक तीन पल्योपम की है और जघन्य कायस्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त की बताई गई है॥ २०१ ॥
The maximum life-span for the body-type of placental human beings is Purva koti prithakatva (20 to 90 million Purvas) more than three Palyopam and minimum is of one Antarmuhurt. (201)
