षट्त्रिंश अध्ययन [ 518]
चत्तारि य गिहिलिंगे, अन्नलिंगे दसेव य । सलिंगेण य असयं, समएणेगेण सिज्झई ॥ ५२ ॥
गृहस्थलिंग में चार, अन्यलिंग में दस और स्वलिंग में १०८ जीव एक समय में सिद्ध हो सकते
हैं ॥ ५२ ॥
In one Samaya (a maximum of) four individuals from householders, ten from other faith and one hundred eight from own faith (Jain) can attain liberation. (52) उक्कोसोगाहणाए य, सिज्झन्ते जुगवं दुवे ।. चत्तारि जहन्नाए, जवमज्झऽट्टुत्तरं सयं ॥ ५३ ॥
उत्कृष्ट अवगाहना में दो, जघन्य अवगाहना में चार और मध्यम अवगाहना में १०८ जीव (एक समय में) सिद्ध हो सकते हैं ॥ ५३ ॥
Two individuals of maximum avagaahana, four of minimum and one hundred eight of medium can attain liberation (at the most in one Samaya ). ( 53 )
चउरुड्ढलोए य दुवे समुद्दे, तओ जले वीसमहे तहेव । सयं च अट्ठत्तर तिरियलोए, समएणेगेण उ सिज्झई उ ॥ ५४ ॥
चार ऊर्ध्वलोक में, दो समुद्र में तीन जल (जलाशय) में, बीस अधोलोक में, १०८ तिर्यक् लोक में एक समय में जीव सिद्ध हो सकते हैं ॥ ५४॥
Four individuals from higher regions, two from oceans, three from other water bodies, twenty from lower regions and one hundred eight from the transverse regions (including earth) can attain liberation (at the most ) in one Samaya. (54)
कहिं पडिहया सिद्धा ?, कहिं सिद्धा पइट्ठिया ?
कहिं बोन्दिं चइत्ताणं ?, कत्थ गन्तूण सिज्झई ॥ ५५ ॥
(प्रश्न) सिद्ध जीव कहाँ जाकर रुकते हैं, कहाँ पर सिद्ध प्रतिष्ठित होते हैं (ठहरते हैं), शरीर को कहाँ छोड़कर और कहाँ जाकर सिद्ध होते हैं ॥ ५५ ॥
(Q.) Where do the perfected souls go and get stopped? Where do they get ensconced? Where do they leave their bodies; and where do they become perfected ones (Siddhas)? (55)
अलोए पsिहया सिद्धा, लोयग्गे य पइट्ठिया । इहं बोन्दिं चइत्ताणं, तत्थ गन्तूण सिज्झई ॥ ५६ ॥
(उत्तर) सिद्ध जीव अलोक द्वारा रुके हुए हैं, लोक के अग्र भाग (ऊर्ध्व दिशा का लोकान्त) में ठहरे हुए हैं, यहाँ मनुष्य क्षेत्र में शरीर को छोड़कर वहाँ लोक के अग्र भाग में जाकर सिद्ध होते हैं ॥ ५६ ॥
(A.) Perfected souls go to the edge of the universe (Lok) and are stopped by Alok (unoccupied space). They are ensconced at the edge of the universe (Lok). They leave their bodies in the world of humans and become perfected ones on reaching the edge of the universe. (56)
