The absence of existence described by the substratum of the mutual absence of that which has that which is to be established, is its counter-positive, this is the meaning. The mutual absence should be qualified by nonexisting in the counter-positive. Therefore, there is no fault of impossibility even though the reason exists in the substratum of mutual absence of that which has that which is to be established determined by the characteristic which exists simultaneously more then one thing. (36) There is an objection in this way also. There is a fault of too narrow application in the inference, 'this has fire because this has smoke' where that which is to be established belongs to many substrata.
