________________ चतुर्थं लक्षणम् (४९) व्यापकताच्छेदकत्वन्तु तद्वन्निष्ठात्यन्ताभावप्रतियोगितानवच्छेदकत्वम् । न तु तद्वन्निष्ठप्रतियोगिव्यधिकरणाभावप्रतियोगितानवच्छेदकत्वम्, तद्वति निरवच्छिन्नवृत्तिमान् योऽभावस्तत्प्रतियोगितानवच्छेदकत्वं वा, प्रकृते व्यापकतायां प्रतियोगिवैयधिकरण्यस्य निरवच्छिन्नवृत्तित्वस्य वा प्रवेशे प्रयोजनविरहात् । तेन४४ पृथिवी कपिसंयोगादित्यादौ नातिव्याप्तिः कपिसंयोगाभावत्वस्य निरुक्तव्यापक ६५ (49) The state of being a determinant, of pervasive-ness, is the state of being non-determinant of the counter-positiveness of the absolute absence even not non-determinant of counter-positiveness of absence which is non-existent with its counter-positive which exists in that which exists which has that thing or not the state of non-determinant of counterpositive-ness of that absence which has existence, not determined by any thing in the sustratum of that. In the present definition there is no need of the inclusion of the expression of "not being present with counter-positive of it, or existence of not determined by any attribute, in the definition of pervasiveness." Therefore44 there is no fault of too wide application in the inference; 'this is earth because this has the conjunction of monky'.
