Serving the Sick
Lord Mahavira said
[ ૮૯ ]
He who serves the sick or the languid, serves me right-wittedly, and he who serves me rightwittedly, is sure to serve the sick or the languid.
How useful this preaching of Lord Mahāvira is about the serving of the sick or the languid!
To serve and console the diseased or the miserable, is the deed of compassion which is, surely, an abode of inexhaustible merit.
