The order of Celibacy
The system of the four orders (Ashramas) is propounded; the first among them is Brahma. charyāsbrama-the order of Brahmacharya (celibacy) which is the prop of life. This Ashrama is an abode for earning knowledge along with the observance of Brahmacharya. 133
