સુખરૂપ થવું સર્વ પ્રાણીને પુણ્ય-માર્ગ છે; દુઃખરૂપ થવું કઈ પ્રાણીને પાપ-માર્ગ છે. ૩૧૨ _સત્ય, અહિંસા, મૈત્રી અને સંયમના ગુણોને ધારક માણસ કેઈને બાધાકારક ન થતે હેઈ સર્વ (અતિદૂરસ્થ પણ) પ્રાણુઓને સુખરૂપ છે.]
To be favourable to all embodied beings, is the good ( Punya or pious ) way; to be unfavourable to any being, is the bad ( sinful ) way.
[He who is endowed with the virtues of Ahinsā, truthfulness, wide friendship and selfrestraint, is favourable to all-even to very distant persons on account of his being harmless to all.] 312
