________________ Empiricism Philosophy says experience gives knowledge. Empiricism is based on sense of experience being source of knowledge. While in the rationalism the reason is the source of knowledge. 1) How do I gain the knowledge? 2) What is the nature of the proportional knowledge? 3) What are the limits of any knowledge? For this refer to author as follows: John lock, George Berkley, David Hume. Copernicus: His revolution inspired Kant to start with the subject instead of the object. Emmanual Kant (1784-1804) He brought big change in the philosophy. Kant defined limits of the knowledge, that is pure perception. Concepts without percepts are empty and percepts without concepts are blind. Kant Gave 1) Structure Of The Understanding 2) Subject And Relation. 3) Ideas Of Intuition Space/Time, 4) 12 Categories Of Understanding Ideas Of Reason. 5)Transcendental Unity Of A Perception, Regulative Ideas. David Hume Said all the Statements has to be Analytical or Synthetic. In Analytical Predicate is contained in the subject. In Synthetic Predicate does not contain in the subject. Like 2+2=4 is Analytical and Dress is Black Is Synthetic. Kant believed that there is another Category apart from analytical And synthetic.
