Paribhāṣika (Technical) Kośa
1. Jaina Gem Dictionary, ed. J. L. Jaini, is a small dictionary of Jaina technical terms. Pub. Jaina Siddhanta Bhavana, Arrah 1919.
2. Jaina Lakṣaṇāvali (4 vols.). ed. Balacandra Siddhantasastri, is an alphabetical encyclopaedic dictionary of Jaina technical terms. It is based on more than 350 prominent Jaina texts canonical as well as non- canonical, mainly Svetambar but in some cases Digambar also. It contains definition of the terms, pertaining to Jaina philosophy, metaphysics, ethics, logic, epistemology, psychology, mythology etc. The object of this dictionary is to provide a source book of definition of important Jaina terms with Hindi translation, It is remarkable that not all definitions have been translated. The editor has given a brief sketch of about 100 Jaina texts in introduction. It has three appendices: bibliography of 351 Jaina texts, description of 137 Jaina authors and the list of authors in chronological order. Pub. 3. Alpaparicita Saiddhantiką Śabdakośa, 8 Vols. by Anandasagarasuri is a lexicon containing the difficult or rather lesser known terms, selected from Ardhamagadhi canons. It provides the various meanings in which the selected words have been used with illustrations, cited not only from canons but from their exegetical literature also.
