Apurva Khela Anand Ghan - By Dr. Renuka Porwal, Mob.: 098218 77327
NOVEMBER 2014
Papa, I saw a play 'Apurva Khela AnandGhan'. Please tell me something more about the saint.
Upadhyayji and Gnanvimalji were his devotees. When Anand Ghanji composed and sang soulful songs, they would write them without his notice.
Once Anand Ghanji came to know that a Shahjada was making fun of Jain Sadhus. To make him realize their power, he made him and his horse motionless with 'Vachan Shakti", saying "Raja ka beta khada rahe!" The Shahjada tried hard to move but could not. He and the king both apologized for their behavior, so the saint forgave them.

Jain Sadhu Anand Ghanji lived in 17th century in western India. With meditation he gained tremendous power. Wild animals also became his friends.
Once after the Atham Tapa, nobody offered him Gochari (food). He composed a song "Asha aurankikyakije, GnanSudharaspije." (Craving increases your birth cycles but if you meditate on your pure soul it produces eternal bliss).
In a village, once a widow came to him with a problem that the King wanted her wealth. Anand Ghanji used his Labdhi power to create unending wealth. The soldiers' carts became full but the wealth was endless. The King was ashamed at harassing the widow and promised never to trouble any women. Such was the great love of Anand Ghanji for the people.
