In fact it may be said without any exaggeration that the deceased possessed in a very high degree all the following qualities of an eminent judge mentioned by Chapnian and Shirler:" A judge-a mani su learn'd, So full of equity, so noble, so notable; In the process of his life so innocent; In the manage of his office so incorrupt; In the passayes of state so wise; in Affection of his country so religious; lu all his services to the king su Fortunate and exploring, as envy Itself can not accuse or malice vitiate.” ** "Had Providence spared him, Lallubhai would have gradually risen to a very high position in the Bhavuagar State; but all our expectations have been cruelly frustrated and the only service we can now render to the deceased in to pray that his kind and beniga suul nay rest iu everlastiug Peace.
