गृहीतलिङ्गो रसलोलुपश्चेत् विडंबनं नास्ति ततोऽधिकं वै 11
મુનિ વેષને ધારણ કર્યા પછી પણ જો ધનની આશા, વિષયની અભિલાષા અને રસની લેાલુપતા રાખવામાં આવે, તા પછી વ્હેનાથી અધિક મીજી કઈ વિડંબના હોઇ શકે ?
गृहीतलिङ्गस्य ( गृहीतं लिङ्गम् येन सः गृहीतलिङ्गः तस्य ) of one. who has accepted the outward symbol of munism. रसलोलुपश्चेत् addicted to delicious flavoury tastes. विडंबनं (noun from विडंन् to ridicule ) ridiculous deception.
If one who has vowed asceticism cherishes an expectation for wealth, and a desire for worldly enjoyments and becomes addicted to delicious flavoury taste, there is not a greater ridiculous deception than above.
