તેને બહુ લેાકેાએ માનેલ અને અનર્થ, સ્ત્રીનાં ચિરત્રા શખની ઉપમાવાળાં અને વિષયે વિષ તુલ્ય માલુમ પડે છે.
बहुधा variously. शबं the dead body. स्वात्मल्यानुभूतिः ( स्वस्य आत्मा तस्मिन् लयः तस्य अनुभूतिः the absorption of self within self, here it means the knowledge whereby one distinguishes between principles to be adopted and rejected for the good of his soul.
Notes:--To them who have realised the true nature of self, the wealth appears worthless though it is highly valued by others and the amorous advances of beautiful ladies are as impotent as the actions of a dead body (generated by some external power) and worldly attachments are identical with poison.
Notes:-To one devoted to spiritual knowledge riches appear as productive of evil.

कार्य च किं ते परदोषदृष्टया कार्य च किं ते परचिन्तया च ।
