AFB and CFD are Major Arcs of the circle.
Minor Arc : The set of points of a circle in the closed semi-plane of ÁB not containing the centre of the circle is called a Minor Arc of the circle.
AEB and CED are Minor Arcs of the circle. Therefore, AFB is a Major Minor Arc
CFD is a MajorMajor Arc. AEB is a MinorMajor Arc.
CED is a Minor Minor Arc. (૪) બાહા : શાસ્ત્રીય વ્યાખ્યા :
મોટી જવાના એક દિશાના છેડાથી નાની જવાના તે જ દિશાના છેડા સુધીનું વર્તુળાકાર અંતર તે બાહા. A અને BD બાહાઓ છે. ગણિતની વ્યાખ્યા :
ભુજ : ગુરુજીવાના એક દિશાના છેડાથી લઘુજીવાના તે જ દિશાના છેડાને જોડનાર લઘુચાપ તે ભુજ. A અને BD ભુજ છે.
Arm : The Arc joining one end of the Major chord and same-sided one end of the minor chord is called an arm.
AC and BD are Arms.
