In Prākrit language the book deals with a form of internal Penance, a reference of 'Nalanda, the name of the 23rd chapter of Satrakritânga, the second anga of the 'Dvudashanga'. The Sanskrit commentator of the book Acharya Prabhachandra of 9th century A. D. explains Nålandå as Jyotirloka.
