Those who realize this truth cut off the bondage of the Samsar and attain Moksha (Salvation). "ऋषभो मरुदेव्याश्च ऋषभाद् भरतोऽभवत् । मरताद् भारतं वर्षः, भरतात् सुमतिस्त्वभूत् ॥ १० ॥ (अग्नि पुराण) Rishabh was born to Marudevi. Bharat was born to Rishabh. Bharath (India) arose from Bharat and Sumati arose from Bharat. . "अर्हन्ता ये चित्पुरो दर्धेऽशेव देवायवते" ॥ ११ ॥ - अ. ४-४-३२-५ ऋग्वेद Just as the sun possesses rays; the Arihant possesses the wealth of true knowledge. "अर्हतो ये सुदानवो नरो असामिशवसः प्रयशं यशियेभ्यो दिवो अर्ची मरुद्भ्यः" ॥ १२ ॥ अ० ४१० ३ वर्ग ८ ऋग्वेद The Arihant is the foremost in carrying out the noble action of rendering benevolence to others, and he is also absolutely heroic. In the same manner, make sacrificial offerings to the worthy Gods. मरुदेवी च नाभिश्च भरते कुलसत्तमाः । अष्टमो मरुदेव्यां तु नाभिजात उरूक्रमः ॥ १३ ॥ दर्शयन् वर्त्म वीराणां, सुरासुरनमस्कृतः । नीतित्रयाणां कर्ता यो युगादौ प्रथमो जिनः ॥ १४ ॥ (मनुस्मृति) Marudevi was the sixth founder of a lineage and Nabhi was the seventh. Rishabh who possessed wide feet was born to Marudevi and Nabhi, the eighth founder of a lineage. He was a guide to heroic men. He was venerated by Gods and demons.
