If it is contended that these are but trials and ordeals, we do not solve the real problem at issue. We only mince matters and thus refuse to look straight into things. How could a God who is all Good and Alllove Himself has made room for what is called as 'bad' or 'hatred in the Universe of His own make ? For One who keeps pitfalls of ignorance, allows sufferings, sanctions pains or permits rooms for evils in the scheme of His universe as trials and ordeals through which the so-called poor Jiva has to pass, stands Himself convicted of holding thought-out temptations, deliberate cruelty, and moral insensibility; and if a moral being at all, He must be to all intents and purposes-far inferior to the moral excellence of His own creatures. Again, we do not squarely face the question by the statement that they are but resultants of the Jivas' karma for which reason he or she undergoes pain and suffers misery in as much as there is the ethical problem that
