duration is stated as 7000 trillion Sägaropam (uncountable) years. This is known as Mahämohaniya Karma. The wrong guru would be subject to such long lasting Karma. Since the above duration is almost immeasurable, it is said that he would virtually be drowned in the sea of worldly existence.
હોય મુમુક્ષુ જીવ તે, સમજે એક વિચાર; હોય મતાર્થી જીવ તે, અવળો લે નિર્ધાર.

Hoy Mumukshu Jiva Te, Samaje Eh Vichär; Hoy Matärthi Jiva Te, Avalo Le Nirdhär.
One who is a truth seeker would understand this concept,
one who is sectarian would arrive at the wrong conclusion.
હોય મતાર્થી તેહને, થાય ન આતમલક્ષ; તેહ મતાર્થી લક્ષણો, અહીં કહ્યાં નિર્પક્ષ.
