forgiveness, truth, renouncement, and detachment are ever-present in the heart of a liberation seeker.

Explanation & Discussion:
The term Mumukshu literally means one who is desirous of liberation. Shrimad has defined the term (Vachanamrut # 254) as one who, being tired of all the sense of attachment and infatuation, endeavors only for liberation. We call him a liberation seeker or truth seeker. This stanza describes the following seven attributes as essential for a real liberation seeker.
Dayä: This means compassion. It is emphasized as the basis of religion, and denotes the softening of the heart on seeing the pitiable condition of others. The liberation seeker has compassion for himself as well as for others. Such a person knows that indulgence in craving and aversion has caused the unending series of birth and death, and as such has subjected
