________________ Appendix II Letter Of Six Fundamentals 274 The soul, which is close to liberation, would easily find them appropriate and entirely convincing. Consideration of these Fundamentals in all perspectives would lead to the rise of discernment within. The supreme entities have pronounced these six Fundamentals as beyond all doubts. Discernment resulting from these six Fundamentals can make the soul to comprehend its true nature. The enlightened entities have laid down the teaching of these six Fundamentals to remove the sense of ego and attachment of the soul arising from its dreaming state (ignorance), which has been prevailing since the time without beginning. If a soul realizes that its true nature is beyond that dreaming state, it would easily awake and gain right perception. By right perception, it would attain liberation in the sense of realizing its true Self. Sense of exultation, grief, or other interaction would not occur to the soul from any transient, impure, or other mode. That contemplation would lead it to experience, from close proximity, its own natural purity, perfection, imperishability, and boundless bliss. The soul has been accustomed to identify itself with the states arising from time to time. It would now gain clear, visible, vivid, and manifest experience of being completely distinct from those states. The interaction with the transient and other objects would not be perceived by it as desirable or undesirable. It would feel gratified by knowing and experiencing its own true Self as the abode of perfect purity, free from affliction of birth, old age, death, disease, etc. All those, who are convinced of the soul by the words of supreme entities in the form of these six Fundamentals, have realized their true state. In the past they have been freed from worries, disease, affliction, and all other interactions; presently they do so and in future the same will happen.
