Programme started with Manglacharan recited by Pujya Sadhvi Soumya Gunashriji. Dr. S. P. Pandey, Ast. Director, welcomed the guests and digniteries and introduced the house the aim and objectives of ISSJS-PV Global Centre along with 'Introduction of the learned speakers. Prof. K.D. Tripathi, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of SVDV, BHU presided over the session. The learned speakers those who addressed the meeting were Prof. Crawford, Dr. Sulekh Jain, Chairman. Governing Council, ISSJS. USA and Dr. Vineya Jain. Prof. Cromwell Crawford, in his lecture told that Jainism has a lot of potential to become a Global religion. In abroad people has great regards for Jainism and its followers. In the present world scenario where violence, unrest, inequality and religious intolerance is prevailing everywhere the preachings of Lord Mahāvīra has become very relevant.
