Rare Combinations For living beings, four combinations are rare to obtain : human-birth, listening to scriptures, faith in Dharma and the energy to practise self-control.
धर्म-श्रवण मनुष्य-जन्म प्राप्त होने पर भी उस धर्म का श्रवण अति दुर्लभ है, जिसे सुनकर मनुष्य तप, क्षमा और अहिंसा को स्वीकार करता है।
Listening to Scriptures Even after having been born as a human being, it is most difficult to get an opportunity to listen to holy scriptures-listening to which makes one practise austerity, forgiveness and non-violence.
