प्रातभार्तरिहावदातरुचयो ये चेतनाऽचेतना,
द्रष्टा विश्वमनः प्रमोदविदुरा भावाः स्वतः सुन्दराः । तांस्तत्रैव दिने विपाकविरसान् हा नश्यतः पश्यत-
श्चेतः प्रेतहतं जहाति न भवप्रेमानुबन्धं मम || ३ ||
1.1.3 The things that delight us & appear beautiful in the morning, become unattractive and boring by evening. Even after seeing
this with our own eyes, our
foolish minds do not leave the affection of sansar. This is so regretful, isn't it ?

मूढ मुह्यसि मुधा, मूढ मुह्यसि मुधा, विभवमनुचिन्त्य हृदि सपरिवारम् । कुशशिरसि नीरमिव गलदनिलकम्पितम्, विनय जानीहि जीवितमसारम् ||१||
We keep thinking about family & get attached with worldly pleasures which is meaningless. Because our life is momentary like the water droplet hanging from a leaf.
पश्य भङ्गुरमिदं विषयसुखसौहृदम्, पश्यतामेव नश्यति सहासम् ।
