सहित्वा सन्तापान शुचिजननीकुक्षिकुहरे,
ततो जन्म प्राप्य प्रचुरतरकष्टक्रमहतः । सुखाभासैर्यावत् स्पृशति कथमप्यर्तिविरतिं,
जरा तावत्कायं कवलयति मृत्योः सहचरी ||३||
On coming in our mother's womb, which is horrifying like a cave, we faced difficulties for 9 months after which we faced the pain of birth. Facing huge troubles, when we got momentary & imaginary pleasure of sensory desires, we felt that finally we got rid of sufferings. Meanwhile, the companion of death old age approaches and weakens our body. Precious human life gets sold at the rate of a penny that is ends uselessly.
विभ्रान्तचित्तो बत बम्भभीति, पक्षीव रुद्धस्तनुपञ्जरेऽङगी ।
नुन्नो नियत्याsतनुकर्मतन्तु-सन्दानितः सन्निहितान्तकौतुः ||४||
3.1.4 Just like a bird is trapped in a cage, we are also trapped in the cage of our body where Kaal is standing beside us like a cat. Ruled by destiny & tied with the rope of intense karmas, we are roaming directionless.
अनन्तान्पुद्गलावर्ताननन्तानन्तरूपभृत् ।
अनन्तशो भ्रमत्येव जीवोऽनादिभवार्णवे ||५||
