________________ SHAANT SUDHAARAS PAGE NO. 37 स्वस्वभावं मद्यमुदितो भुवि विलुप्य विचेष्टते । दृश्यतां परभावघटनात्, पतति विलुठति जृम्भते ||४|| विनय. 4.2.4Like a drunkard forgets himself & his real nature, falls down on the ground and roll around; we also fall in the loop of external desires & indulge ourselves in it. पश्य काञ्चनमितरपुद्गल - मिलितमञ्चति कां दशाम् । केवलस्य तु तस्य रूपं विदितमेव भवाद्रशाम् ||५|| विनय. 4.2.5 We all know what happens to precious metals like gold if they get mixed with other cheaper metals (they become impure). The same way, our soul becomes impure due to desires of external entities. एवमात्मनि कर्मवशतो, भवति रूपमनेकधा । कर्ममलरहिते तु भगवति, भासते काञ्चनविधा ||६|| विनय 4.2.6 This way, our souls takes different forms as a result of being overruled by karma. Once it is free from the dirt of Karma, it shines like pure gold. ज्ञानदर्शन चरणपर्यव-परिवृत्तः परमेश्वरः । एक एवानुभवसदने, स रमतामविनश्वरः ||७|| विनय 4.2.7 Such a soul is eternal and always filled with Gyan (right knowledge), Darshan (right perception) & Charitra (right conduct).
