अहह! तितिक्षागुणमसमानं पश्यत भगवति मुक्तिनिदानम् ।
येन रुषा सह लसदभिमानं, झटिति विघटते कर्मवितानम् ||४|| विनय०
14.2.5 The quality of tolerance is unique in itself, it cannot be compared to any other virtue. Being the best resource to attain salvation, let's visualise this virtue in Tirthankars. By doing so, our flaws (anger, ego, etc.) vanish and our karmas also shed away.
अदधुः केचन शीलमुदारम्, गृहिणोऽपि हि परिहृतपरदारम् ।
यश इह सम्प्रत्यपि शुचि तेषाम्, विलसति फलिताफलसहकारम् ||५|| विनय०
14.2.6 There are many such virtuous Shravak and Shravikas who refrain from indulging in attractions of other women and practise brahmacharya with discipline. Such beings are remembered even today.
या वनिता अपि यशसा साकं, कुलयुगलं विदधति सुपताकम् । तासां सुचरितसञ्चितराकं, दर्शनमपि कृतसुकृतविपाकम् ||६|| विनय०
14.2.7 Those married women who brighten up both their families with their virtues, even the sight of such pure women is achieved only to those who are fortunate enough.
तात्त्विकसात्त्विकसुजनवतंसाः केचन युक्तिविवेचनहंसाः ।
अलम कृषत् किल भुवनाभोगं, स्मरणममीषां कृतशुभयोगम् ||७|| विनय०
14.2.8 Wise intellectuals, strong will-powered ascetics, intelligent teachers - all such beings have largely contributed to the entire world. Even remembering the names in honour is an occasion of bliss.
