निर्ग्रन्थास्तेऽपि धन्या गिरिगहनगुहागह्वरान्तर्निविष्टाः, धर्मध्यानावधाना समरससुहिताः पक्षमासोपवासा: । येऽन्येऽपि ज्ञानवन्तः श्रुतविततधियो दत्तधर्मोपदेशा:, शान्ता दान्ता जिताक्षा जगति जिनपतेः शासनं भासयन्ति ||३||
14.1.4 Hats off to monks who fast for days and months meditating on mountain peaks, in forests or in caves. Even the monks who are knowledgeable and share their knowledge with the world, such calm and sober beings who are the pride of Jinshashan, are worthy of utmost respect.
दानं शीलं तपो ये विदधति गृहिणो भावनां भावयन्ति धर्मं धन्याश्चतुर्धा श्रुतसमुपचित-श्रद्धयाराधयन्ति । साध्व्यः श्राद्ध्यश्च धन्याः श्रुतविशदधिया शीलमुद्भावयन्त्य- स्तान्सर्वान्मुक्तगर्वाः प्रतिदिनमसकृद् भाग्यभाजः स्तुवन्ति ||४||
14.1.5 Shravak - Shravikas who practise the four-fold Dharm - do charity, observe brahmacharya, practice austerities and imbibe positive ideologies, are great too. Fortunate beings cherish such personalities with modesty every single day.
मिथ्यादृशामप्युपकारसारं, संतोषसत्यादिगुणप्रसारम् । वदान्यता-वैनयिकप्रकारं मार्गानुसारीत्यनुमोदयामः ||५||
14.1.6 If people from other beliefs possess good qualities like compassion, satisfaction truthfulness, generosity, humility, etc. then we should appreciate their virtues too.
