________________ Antah Sadaiva Jina Yasya Vibhāvysē Tvam I Bhavyaiḥ Katham Tadapi Nāśayasē Śariram II Ētatsvarūpamatha Madhyavivartinō Hi I Yad Vigraham Praśamayanti Mahānubhāvāḥ || 16 || O Lord Jina! O Supreme Soul! We wonder why you destroy the same body, in which one attempts your meditation, concentration and contemplation ! The answer to this riddle is that the person who is meditating has this nature. That is to say, a person who intervens in the quarrel between two beings, tends to quieten down the quarrel. The point is that as the Lord Jina is an impartial, neutral intervener, he, with a view to end the quarrel between the body and the soul, destroys the body and liberates th soul, thus seperating the two quarreling agents. ||16|| આઠમું સ્મરણ-૧૯૮ Jain Education International Eight Invocation-168 For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
