नूनं न मोहतिमिरावृतलोचनेन । पूर्वं विभो सकृदपि प्रविलोकितोसि ।। मर्माविधो विधूरयन्ति हि मामनर्थाः | प्रोद्यत्प्रबन्धगतयः कथमन्यथैते ||३७।। હે વિભુ ! મોહ રૂપી અંધકારથી અંધ બન્યાં છે લોચન જેનાં એવા મારા વડે ભૂતકાળમાં એકવાર પણ આપશ્રી ભાવપૂર્વક ખરેખર જોવાયા નથી. અન્યથા (એટલે કે જો ભાવપૂર્વક આપશ્રીનાં દર્શન કર્યા હોત તો) મર્મને વિંધનારા, અને દિનપ્રતિદિન વૃધ્ધિ પામતી છે પરંપરાની શ્રેણી જેની એવા આ અનર્થો (મુશ્કેલીઓ) મને કેમ પડી શકે ? જો ભાવથી તમારાં દર્શન કર્યા હોત તો એક પણ મુશ્કેલી મને પીડી શકત નહીં ૩૭ી.

| 37 || O Lord ! I have become blind due to the darkness of ignorance and infatuation; I did not see you even once with love and devotion. Otherwise (i.e. If I had seen you with love and affection), how could these ever increasing chains of afflictions, which are heartrending, trouble me like this?
