Institute in Poona is dated samvat 1650 (A.D. 1592), but the anthology itself is propably of an earlier date; it was also the prototype of the Sūktimuktāvalí mentioned before publisehd in 1922. This anthology contains also many non-Jinistic verses, e.g. culled from Bhartshari's Sataka-s (116 verses)?; several verses of the Sārasūktāvalí are also found in non-Jinistic subhāṣita-samgraha-s3; 9.4. the Subhāşit a k h anda of Gaņeś a bhatta (in the MS. the author is called Gaņebhatta) is another unpublished subhāṣita-samgraha written by a Jaina author.
