[श्री फलटणेजाने ज्योतिषविद्याके अभिज्ञानानुसार भ. महावीरका परिचय प्रस्तुत लेखसें कराया है । भगवान्की जन्मकुडलीको उपस्थित करके उन्होंने भगवान के व्यक्तित्वपर प्रकाश डाला है । किसी अवतारी पुरुष के होने के लिये जो गृह योग ज्योतिर्ज्ञानसे अभीष्ट हैं, वह भगवान्की जन्मकुंडलीमें मिलते हैं । अतएव वह अवतारी महापुरुष थे । यद्यपि प्रसिद्धि म. बुद्धकीमी अत्यधिक है। इसपर जैन शास्त्र बताते हैं कि म महावीरके कालमें मिथ्या मत प्रचलित रहे, परन्तु वस्तुतः तीर्थकर तो भ, महावीरही थे। म महावीर विषयमें श्वेताम्बर जैनोंका मत है कि उनका विवाह हुआ या, किंतु भगवानकी जन्मपत्रिकामें गृहयोगोको जो स्थिति है उससे उनकी पत्नीका अभाव सिद्ध है। उसमें सातवें गृहमें राहु दो पापगृहोंसहित है । अतः भगवानके पत्नी हो नहीं सकती, जैसे कि दिगम्बर जैनोंकी मान्यता है । म. महावीरले बारह वर्षके तपश्चरणकालमें दूर दूर देशीम विहार किया था, यह बातमी उनकी जन्मपत्रिकामें गृहयोगोंकी स्थितिसे सिद्ध है। सातवें गृहमें कन्याराशिका । अस्तित्व दर्शन शास्त्रको परिपूर्णता, लेखन शैलीकी विशिष्टता और ज्ञानार्जनके लिए विशद यात्रायें .' करनेका द्योतक है । न. गृहमें चन्द्रकी स्थिति मानवके राजयोग और सुखको प्रगट करती है, मानो यह अधकार नाशक ज्योत्सना हो। अन्य गृहस्थिति उनकी लोककल्याण भावना, सर्वज्ञता, । और मापनेको सिद्ध करती है । वह प्रफुल्यदन ये और चन्द्रचूड योगके धारी थे अर्थात् श्रेष्ठ अभयशनी ! -का.प्र.]
It is my humble opinion that Lord Mahāvira has not been properly understood esen by the Jainas she profess themselves to be His devoted followers Bhagavana Buddha was His contemporary and 18 said to have treater following than Mahāvim This fact has induced many to think that the pnmc force that was at the root of the great upheaval that took place at that time must had been Bhagan en Buddha and not Lord Mahavira Fortun nately schme secured thc horoscope of Lord Mahavira though not that of Blingast an Buddha from which sc can liarc some idca as to what the real things might have been It is acknowledged by all that there can be only one Tirthanlara or Avatīra at one time and in one locality though there may arisc ses cral personages calling themselves teachers of authority and Fielding frcat influence osor the masses It hchoies us therefore to klud: the horoscope of Lord Mahās īra and to find out His rcal piace at His times His horoscope is as follows .
