What is the meaning of cut short of life span (an-apavartya yu)? When the life-span / duration, determined at the time of the bondage of the life-span-determining karma, had been enjoyed completely and the person / living being dies, then the life is said to be full / completelifespan. When the death occurs accidently before such determined life span, then it is called 'cut-short (an-apavartya yu) life span'.
