TRANSLATION. (1. 1) Hail! From (his) victorious camp-the grandson of sri-Kirtivarman whose fame adorned the circle of the whole world, who was a royal gem sprung out of the ocean-like

Read 4 What the author has taken to be the i-sign is only a crack in the plate. The e-siga is clearly marked by a curve to the left of the first vertical line of ya as in re (1. 15).-Ed.).
