The month can be made out with tolerable certainty but the actual tithi or date is a matter of considerable doubt though the traces of the symbol favour the reading 8.
I am unable to identify the localities mentioned in the record. Kongoda has already been identified by Kielhorn with Kong-u-t'o (Kong-yu-t'o) of Hiuen-Tsiang."
