જો ચઢવાની ઈચ્છા હોય તો ગુણ જે. પડવું હોય તે દોષ જો. જેવું જઈશ તેવું પામીશ. પવિત્ર વસ્તુ પેખીરા તો પવિત્ર થઈશ. માટે તારી આસપાસ પવિત્ર વસ્તુ રાખ. ખરાબમાં પણ સારૂ જોવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરી જેથી તને અપવિત્ર દર્શનનું નુકશાન થવા પામે નહિ શ્રીકૃષ્ણ મહારાજ એક સવાંગ વ્યાધિગ્રસ્ત સ્થાનમાં તેના મુખની નિઃબિડ અવિરલ દંતાલી જોઈને સાનંદાશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા હતા, તેને દાખલ લે. દોષ જોવાથી નિર્મલ આમાં કલુષિત થાય છે; લધુતા આવે છે. મનને દોષ જોવાને અવકાશ મળે એ કેટલું હલકું મન સાબીત કરે છે ? જે મન શુભ કાર્યમાં જોડાયેલું રહેતું હોય, શુભ સંગતિવાળું હોય તે તેને અશુભ સંગતિને અવકાશ જ કયાંથી મળે ગુણ ગણનાના કાર્યમાંથી નવરું થાય તો દેષ ઉપર દોડેને ઉત્તમ મનુષ્ય
