________________ [ 162 ] described as Vệkșa, Udbhija and Matsya. These bodies are unable to have direct vision of Brahmă. The human body alone is capable of Divine Vision. I It may be pointed out that here Puruşa means Puruşadeha. Śridhara Svāmī quotes a Śruti which extols the greatness of the human body.2 The entire chapter X in Skandha XI of the Bhagavata Purana has to be gone through carefully in regard to heavenly life in connection with Dharma and lapses after the exhaustion of Dharma.3 . SECTION X1 VIŞŅU PURĀŅA ON KARMA AS THE CAUSE OF BHOGA The Vişņu Purāņa expresses the popular belief regarding Karma as the cause of bhoga endorsed by philosophical thinking. According to this Purāņa, Karma either dharma or as adharma is the form of enjoyment or suffering through the body.s Differences in bodily formations are due to Karma,5 VISŅU PURĀŅA AND THE CATURYUGA - In the Vişnu Puranas there is a beautiful description of the Caturyuga with special reference to the present Kali age. It is said that in the first period called Satya or Kția Yuga, the entire creation is created by the Creator "Brahma.
