34-35 enumerate a set of eight special excellences springing from their character (Sättvika) which these heroes possess in their youth. They are: 1. Tejas; 2. Vilasa; 3. Madhurya, 4. Sobha; 5. Sthairya; 6. Gabhiratā (= Gambhirya); 7. Audarya; and 8. Lalita. 36 defines Tejas.
