7 Ābhīri
Ābhiri is the same as Sābari The only distinction is that the gerundive ends in ia or ua (Mk.XV 10) e g Skt gatvā> gascia, or gadua, Skt, pathitvā<padhia, or padhua
8 Prácyā
The pracya, a variety of bhāsā, is derived from Sauraseni for its basis (Pu X 1 & 14, RT II 22 1, MkX 1) In this dialect proverbs, contradictory sentences and vulgar expressions are profusedly used (Pu X 13, RT II 23) Markandeya (X 1) quotes a couplet .
pūrvāparahatam kvāpi kvacicchekotisundaram | grāmyābhyām upamoktıbhyām yuktam vaktı vidūşakah //
According to the canons of dramaturgy, the Prācyā dialect is to be spoken by the Vidūşaka (jester) of the play Markandeya quotes from Bharata-prācyā vidūsakādinām (NS 17 51) (RT II 24, Mk X 1) The characteristics of Pracyā are noted below
