12 Vrācadaka Apabhramsa
The basis of Vrācada Apabbramba, which is current in the Sindhu country, is recorded as being nothing but Nāgara. The following are its chief characteristics
I ș, s> Ś II The C-varga is pronounced as clear palatals, (spaşta
talavsaḥ), t and dh are pronounced as slurred (aspasta)

3. Upanāgaraka-Apabhramsa
Puruşottama says that Upanāgara is an admixture of Nāgaraka and Vracada, and it has several other local speeches, such as, Vaidarbhī, Lātí, Audrï, Kaikeyī, Gaudi and the speeches of the countries such as Țakka, Varvara, Kuntala, Pāņdya, Simhala etc The characteristics of these dialects as found in Purusottama (XVIII 16-23) and Rāmasarmā (III 2.5-13) have been summed up by Mārkandeya in his commentary on XVIII.12 There are the following
