Indra should disguise himself as a bull so that the king would ride him to fight against daitys. Indra acted accordingly and the king riding him, fought daityas and finally defeated them. Thus the being had the title of Käkutstha and henceforth, descendents of
him bore the title of Käkutstha. ककुद् (1) ककुदा स्त्री० शिखर, चोटी, कूब, राजचिह्न;

of royalty. (2) वि० वि० मुख्य, प्रमुख्य; chief, head. ककुदावर्तिन् ककुदावट्टि [-द्+आ-] वि० त्रि० शरीर

disguised as a saint. ककुद्यत् कउद्द (1) वि० त्रि० कूब वाला;
furnished with a hump (2)-मान् पुं० पर्वत, भौंसा; monuntain, buffalo.-ती
Fransa; the hip and the loins. ककुद्मिन् कउद्दि (1) वि० त्रि० शिखर वाला, कूब

bull, father-in-law of Balararama. ककुद्मिकन्या कउद्दि कण्णा स्त्री० बलराम की पत्नी
रेवती; name of Balarama's wife. ककुभ कउह (also-भा) स्त्री० दिशा,
सौन्दर्य,चम्पक फूल की माला; quarter, beauty, a wreath of Champaka
flowers. ककुभ कउहो पुं० वीणा की तुम्बी, (= वीणा-प्रसेव),
रागविशेष, अर्जुनवृक्ष; the crooked piece of wood at the end of a lute,
particular rāga, Arjuna tree. कक्कुल कक्कुलो पुं० मौलसिरी का वृक्ष; tree of
Bakula. कक्कोल पुं० संभसवः शीतल चीनी का वृक्ष, इसके
फलों से सुगंधित पदार्थ बनता है; a plant
bearing a berry. कक्खटी कक्खडी स्त्री० खड़िया; chalk. कक्केरुक कक्केरुगो पुं० पेट का कीड़ा; worm in
the stomach. कक्ष कक्ख [Vकक् 'लौल्ये'] पुंन० बगल (=
दोर्मूलम्), धोती की लांग (=शिक्यतलम्); arm-pit, dry wood, forest of dead trees, garass, heaps of grass, weed, sin that part of a balance in which
things are placed for weighing. कक्षा - कक्खा (स्त्री०) करधनी या काञ्ची, हाथी
की रस्सी, सांकल (=इभरजुः), इमारत की बगल का कमरा, आँगन (गेह-प्रश्चिमाञ्चलम्), समता, उद्ग्राहिणी (शास्त्रार्थ में उत्तर), श्रेणी, उत्कर्ष; girdle, the rope for elephant, secluded room in a building, court-yard, surrounding wall, particular part of a vehicle, knot at the lower end of a garment, equality, objection of
relpy in argument. कक्षावेक्षक (पुं०) कक्खावेक्खगो (पुं०) रनिवास
की देखरेख करने वाला, दरवान, उद्यानपाल, कवि, रङ्गाजीव; overseer of the inner apartment, door-keeper, keeper of
a royalk garden, port, painter. कक्ष्या - कक्खा (स्त्री०) करघरनी, मेलना, घोड़े या
हाथी का तंग (इभनाडी), मध्यवर्धन या कमरकस, चार-दीवारी, घेरा, सादृश्य, उद्योग; girdle, girth (or an animal), the rope for a horse or elephant for tightening, breast, surrounding wall, enclosure of an edifice, similarity, enterprise.
