गन्धर्वो से संबद्ध, अश्व; relating to the Gandharvas, horse. (2)-वः गंधळो (पुं०) प्रेम-विवाह; -वेद (पुं०) संगीतशास्त्र, music, love-marriage. -र्वम् - गंधव्व
(न०) संगीत, गीतिशास्त्र; music. गान्धार - गंधार (गन्धार-) (1) (वि०) (त्रि०)
गन्धार देश का; of the Gandhara (kandhara) country. (2) -र: गंधारो सिंदूर, सात स्वरों में तीसरा;red lead, third
of the seven svaras. गान्धारी- गंधारी (स्त्री०) गान्धार देश की,गान्धारराज
की पुत्री और धृतराष्ट्र की पत्नी व दुर्योधन की माता; a woman belonging to Gāndhāra country, daugher of the king of Gāndhāra and wife of Dhrtārāştra, mother of Duryod

द्रव्य-व्यवसायी; perfumer. (2) (वि०) (त्रि.) गन्धसंबंधी; concerning or
consisting of perfume. गामिन् - गामि (वि०) (त्रि०) जानेवाला, यह कृदन्त
पद है और किसी संज्ञा शब्द के अंत में जुड़ता है, जैसे-मृगेन्द्रगामिन्-विमान से जानेवाला; It isa कदन्त form and comes at the end of anoun as in the words मृगेन्द्रगामिन् having the gait like that of a lion,
विमानगामिन् travelling by a plane. गम्भीर्य - गंभीरिअं (गम्भीरस्य भावः) (न०) गहराई,
गंभीरता, संजीदगी; depth, seriousness. गान - गाणं (न०) गाना; singing. गाय - गाअं (पुं०) गाने का कार्य; singing.. गायत्री - गायत्ती (गायत्र = song) (1) (स्त्री०)

याज्ञवल्क्य से शास्त्रार्थ किया था; a spiritualist lady who had a discourse with the sage Yajña
valkya. गार्ग्य - गारगी (स्त्री०) एक वैयाकरण व नैरुक्त;a
grammarian and etmologist. गार्जर - गज्जर (पुं०) गाजर; carrot. गाय॑ - गग्घ (न०) लालच; greed, greediness. गार्भिण्य - गम्भिण्णं (गर्भिणीनां समूह:) (न०)
गर्भिणी स्त्रियों की टोली; a number of
pregnant women. गाोय - गट्ठिय (गृष्टि-) गृष्टि अर्थात् पहले व्यांत
वाली का बच्चा; son of one that has
delivered for the first time. गार्हपत - गारिहवच्चो [- गृहपतिना नित्यं संयुक्तः]
(पुं०) गृहस्थ के घर में नित्य विराजमान अग्नि,
औपासन अग्नि; the householder's fire, one of the three sacred fires maintained by a householder, which he receives from his father and which he transmits to his successors.
