Amjana (Añjana) A type of mountains formed of the jewels of the same namel and hence appearing black. They are 1000 yojanas deep, 84000 yojanas high and 10000 yojanas wide. They are shaped like a cow's tail, i.e. their circumference gradually diminishes towards the summit. There are four such mountains which are situated in the four different quarters of the Namdisara island.
