(૧૧૨) Setambar and Digambar Schools. Modern Scholar. ship is not one sided.
The Setambars and Digambars both contend for the antiquity of their doctrine It is now generally acknowledged that Setambar doctrine is the oldest. In the begining there was no distinction between the two Schools. The distinction arose later. I can only say that Digambar doctrine is not result. There is no good in desputing over the matter.

Examination. ભાવાર્થ –હને સંપૂર્ણ રીતે યાદ છે કે-જુન માસમાં કલકત્તાની અંદર એક દિગમ્બર વિદ્વાને દિગમ્બર ફિલેસોફી ઉપર ભાષણ આપ્યું હતું. જહેમાં “જગત્કત વિગેરે બ્રાહ્મણ સિદ્ધાન્તનું ખંડન કર્યું હતું.
