the same Gotra and i ravara becomes unintelligible. I suppose at they are really the descendants of the ķishis pronounced in
eir respective Pravaras and that, having followed a profession it prescribed for Brâhmans, they are treated as Vaiśyas and
hatriyas. This view is confirmed by the fact that some of the a cestors of the so called Brâhmans were themselves Kshatriyas who anted the Vedas. Kstriyas and Vaisyas. Pravara for Kshatriyas :- Mânava,
Aila, Paurûravasa.
Pravara for Vaiśyas :-Bhâlandana, Vâtsapri, Mankilat ; or Vâtsapri.
