The stone inscription no. 492 in Halebelgola reads that Hoysala King Tribhuvanamalla Ereyanga donated Racanahalla village to Gopanandi, disciple of Caturmukha, in śaka 1,015 ( 1,093 A. D.) for the sake of repairing the temple at Belgola.
